Base salary range: $104,604 - $135,987

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the CONTRACTING DEPARTMENT (CODE 400) of PSNS and IMF.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Contract Specialist leading a full range of complex contracting operations by directing and approving high-risk/high-value source selection plans and contractual actions; and exercising signatory authority to issue decisions on claims and approve complex settlements or dispute resolutions; and providing strategic direction and establishing policies for advanced acquisition strategies to procure supplies or services for an organization.
Basic Qualification Requirements for Contracting Officer Positions: In addition to meeting the basic educational requirement as well as the requirements above, applicants must have: 1.
At least two years of experience in contracting positions; and 2.
Completed all contracting courses required for a contracting officer for positions at the level and grade at which the person is serving.
Certification at this level is sufficient to meet this standard.
