Full Job Description

This position is located at Vilseck Arts and Crafts Center. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1.

Working knowledge of operating a Fine Applied Arts Program, providing instruction and guidance as required, arranging for supplies and services along with publicizes and schedules activities. 2.

Demonstrated ability to plan, supervise, administer and conduct a Fine Arts Activities program. 3. Supervisory or Leadership Experience. Major Duties:

  • Plans, organizes and coordinates the Arts and Crafts program for a diverse military and civilian community participant population.
  • Develops positive and meaningful program offerings, which are diversified, responsive to available resources and participant needs and interests, and provide opportunities for self-expression, skill development and social activity.
  • Develops publicity to advertise scheduled Arts and Crafts program offerings, such as classes in such activities as woodworking, basket making, calligraphy, pottery, ceramics, photography, drawing, sculpting, etc.
  • Works with participant community, advising, demonstrating, and recommending methods and techniques based on the individual's level of development and degree of skill in the appropriate field of fine and applied arts.
