Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Rapid Mission Integration and Interoperability Department (MX), Expeditionary Electromagnetic Warfare Division (MXQ), Project Management Branch (MXQM of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing technical project requirements and workload demand to assess performance and ensure alignment with mission objectives.

  • You will manage and supervise the Project Management Branch within the Division.
  • You will be responsible for branch execution of standardized Task Management processes and reporting across the Division.
  • You will be responsible for the development of the workforce, effective execution of workload consistent with organizational initiatives and objectives, and for providing outstanding support and service to assigned customers.
  • You will plan, distribute, coordinate, and monitor work assignments of subordinates.
  • You will evaluate work performance and provides feedback on their performance.
  • You will ensure that employees are appropriately selected, utilized, and developed, and that they are treated in a fair and equitable manner.
  • You will recommend discipline, awards, promotions and other personnel actions.
  • You will resolve employee complaints; investigates conduct and or performance problems including those where disciplinary action may be proposed.
