Full Job Description

This position is located at: Leisure Travel Services - Fort Riley, Kansas.

As part of the Leisure Travel team, you will help in planning and arranging destination and travel tickets for our military community, leveraging your customer service, sales, and leadership skills to create memorable experiences for service members and their families.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Progressively responsible experience, including supervisory or managerial experience. 2.

Must have exceptional communication and people skills in customer service and problem resolution and be able to supervise the work of others. 3.

A two (2) year degree (AA) with a major emphasis in hospitality management or closely related field may be substitute for some of the required experience. 4.

Experience in attraction sales and guest services is desirable. Highly Preferred Qualification: 1. Minimum of one year managerial experience tracking sales, inventory, and preparing reports. 2.

Minimum of one year planning travel and leisure details. 3.Demonstration of attention to detail and providing excellent customer service.

  • Provides management and supervisory duties for the assigned area of responsibility. The area of responsibility includes ticket sales for local area events and attractions; guest services provides information.
  • Provides travel information and assistance to persons, relaying information on attractions they plan on visiting, providing tickets to attractions, and preparing itineraries. Responsible for the procurement and accountability of tickets.
  • Makes presentations on activities and services available to various functions, meetings, retirement seminars, and installation orientations; collects, records, and maintains a variety of information required for various administrative and financial.
  • Prepares budget, and composes routine correspondence from brief notes, oral instructions, or on the basis of precedents.
  • Performs a full range of supervisory duties, including recommending recruitment or reassignment actions, conducts performance appraisals and submits for approval by the manager.
