The purpose and mission of the Marion County Community Corrections Agency is to improve the lives of citizens in Marion County through community supervision, as an alternative to incarceration, utilizing evidence-based practices and comprehensive case management while cultivating a productive, collaborative, and compliant work environment in order for our workforce to meet the needs of the citizens of Indianapolis and Marion County.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing and supervising the performance of team leaders and front-line team-members located at Marion County Community Corrections (MCCC) facilities.
The incumbent in this position is responsible for the supervision of clients, development of case plans, referral to services, programming, processing arrivals and releases for the program, handling phone calls and requests, requesting home visits, and monitoring of electronic monitoring equipment.
Incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations and programming related to MCCC and directly responsible for public safety, team-member safety, team-member accountability, and adherence to evidence-based practices.
Incumbent in this position has wide latitude to make decisions related to public safety, team-member safety, and client safety and accountability for records management, maintenance and retention, and administrative services.
The incumbent operates within a wide range of discretion for hiring and terminations. Incumbent may deviate from standards as established within the appropriate policies, procedures, and laws.
Errors in judgment could cause irreparable consequences and lost work hours to the agency. Incumbent will exercise freedom in judgment while assisting in policy formulation and negotiations.
Position will provide input to the manager in agency-wide decision making and provide assistance in the absence of their manager.
The incumber in this position is required to be on-call 24-hours a day, seven (7) days a week and may participate in a rotating schedule. Position reports to the Manager, Operations.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Emotional intelligence when dealing with people of all backgrounds. Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office.
