Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team that manages people in community corrections programs, such as creating support plans, checking on clients at home, and using electronic devices to track them, all to keep the community safe without sending everyone to jail.
A good fit would be someone with experience in supervision, a strong sense of responsibility for safety, and skills in handling team issues and working with other groups.

This position is responsible for overseeing and supervising the performance of the case management team leaders, front-line team-members, supervision of clients, development of case plans, referral to services, phone calls, requests, home visits, and monitoring of electronic monitoring equipment.
The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations and programming related to Marion County Community Corrections and directly responsible for public safety, team-member accountability, and adherence to evidence-based practices and effective principles of intervention.
The incumbent will provide input to the manager in agency-wide decision making and provide assistance in the absence of the manager.
This position has the latitude to make decisions related to public safety, team-member safety, and client safety.
Incumbent in this position is accountable to records management, maintenance and retention, dissemination of customer information and administrative services.
Position operates with discretion on matters related to hiring or terminations. Incumbent may deviate from standards as established within the appropriate policies, procedures, and laws.
Incumbent in this position must use judgment while assisting in policy formulation and in all types of negotiations. Position reports to the Manager, Community Supervision.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Management, or related field and two (2) years of experience working in criminal justice or corrections facilities.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Skill in establishing cost effective programs and quality control.

Emotional intelligence when dealing with people of all backgrounds. Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office.
