Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position.
To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.
Creditable specialized experience includes: - Provides technical direction on initiative/project methodology selection, initiative/project management, team building, facilitation, process analysis, and business case development.
- As a change agent advises staff on maximizing data-driven decision making and developing a portfolio of high-impact, strategically important initiatives/projects to optimize limited resources, meet critical customer requirements, reduce rework and variation by standardizing processes and services to improve health and readiness outcomes.
- Proactively develops strategies and plans to validate and replicate leading practices.
- Assists and/or acts as the lead facilitator in the execution of continuous process improvement (CPI) projects or events.
- Reviews project completion elements (policies, processes and procedures, controls, tools, and human capital) necessary to ensure the end-to-end IT business processes are standardized, repeatable, and in compliance with all applicable laws.
