Job Description

Summary

This job involves managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies to correctional facilities in the Ionia area, while supervising prisoner workers and keeping accurate records of all transactions.

It requires driving state vehicles and operating warehouse equipment like forklifts.

Full Job Description

This position is responsible for the receipt, storage, requisitioning and distribution of supplies and materials to the Ionia area correctional facilities, supervises prisoner workers, receives and distributes supplies to the Ionia area Correctional Facilities. Maintains receipt and delivery records.

This positions requires possession of the Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the Secretary of State as required by Public Act 346 of 1988 to operate a designated state vehicle. Ability to attain an Industrial Truck License (Hi-Lo) within one month of hire.
