Full Job Description
Distribute all food, clothing, equipment, and other merchandise to the facility.
* Deliver pass through items to the ordering department.
* Pull inventoried items listed on staff orders.
* Stack items to be delivered on carts or pallets.
* Verify that items have been pulled correctly.
* Deliver items to the appropriate department.
* Have staff verify and sign for the delivered items.
* Returned signed order forms to the warehouse and adjust inventory accordingly.
Receive deliveries/shipments
* Check items delivered against the packing slip.
* Verify that no items in shipment are damaged.
* Report any discrepancies to the driver and note on applicable paperwork.
* Mark stock with receipt date.
* Put inventoried items away using the appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, ladders) making sure to rotate stock.
* Set pass through items aside for delivery later.
* Distribute the packing slips to the business office and adjust inventory accordingly.
Provides work assignments to a crew of inmates, supervising and instructing when necessary.
Maintain daily time cards on crew. Pat search inmates. Provide orientation to new inmates assigned to work crew.
Operates vehicles in the pickup and delivery of supplies from the warehouse to locations inside the
Institution.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements to qualify for positions in this job classification:
1) Two years of full-time work experience in full-time clerical, inventory, stores, supply, or warehousing work.
2) Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes one year of full-time work as a storekeeper 1
