Job Description

Summary

This role as a Staff Officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency involves coordinating with teams, making smart decisions in tough situations, and building networks to support defense missions, including planning for military exercises and high-level events.

It's ideal for someone with strong communication skills and experience in intelligence or military operations who thrives in collaborative, high-stakes environments.

The position is based at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama and focuses on enhancing agency capabilities through strategy and protocol management.

Key Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for clear, concise responses to complex issues
  • Strong decision-making abilities in complex situations, including anticipating best practices
  • Ability to build and maintain diverse professional networks across the agency to resolve issues
  • Experience collaborating with senior staff to develop strategies for specialized services
  • Proven experience leading or facilitating protocol events, such as engagements with General Officers or Congressional Delegations
  • Experience planning support for military exercises and crisis operations (highly desired)
  • Background in providing scientific and technical intelligence analysis of foreign weapon systems (highly desired)
