Job Description
Summary
This internship offers college students a chance to work in science and technology roles at the Defense Intelligence Agency in Fort Meade, Maryland, supporting national defense through hands-on projects in intelligence operations.
It focuses on building skills in teamwork, integrity, and excellence while contributing to mission-critical tasks.
Ideal candidates are STEM majors with strong academic records, an interest in government service, and the ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.
Key Requirements
- Current enrollment in a college or university program, preferably in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics fields
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
- Strong academic performance and relevant coursework in technical areas
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in science and technology applications relevant to intelligence
- Ability to address mandatory assessment factors, including teamwork, integrity, excellence, and service orientation
- Proficiency in English; additional languages may be beneficial
- Availability for a summer 2027 internship at Fort Meade, MD
