This job involves working as a senior developer on a custom web application that manages career and technical education programs for community colleges in Colorado, including building features, fixing issues, and ensuring the system is secure and accessible.

Note: All interviews for this position will be hosted in person at our office in Denver, Colorado. Travel reimbursement to the interviews is not available. All work for this role must be completed in the state of Colorado; relocation expenses are not available for this position.
The Colorado CTE Gateway is the single site in which all Career and Technical Education (CTE) program and contact management and reporting, including for state and federal CTE funding, is housed.
This custom-built, cloud-based web application software is owned, developed, and maintained by the CTE Accountability team. It is built on Azure services such as Azure SQL, and Web Services.
The API is written in C# and front end is in ReactJS.
In this position you’ll provide technical support and problem solving for a variety of Career & Technical Education (CTE) Gateway application and technical issues, working closely with the Customer Support Team, other CCCS-IT teams, and other developers.
This is a highly collaborative role, and you will need to be able to translate complex technical information for end users.
You’ll be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, documenting, reviewing, and testing complex functions, modules, and programs in order to support the CTE in Colorado database, web application, and data reports.
