We are seeking a candidate to ensure the organization can reliably access, understand, and use high-quality licensing data to meet operational, regulatory, and public-facing needs.
WHAT TO EXPECT -

Working Conditions:
Work setting: Duties are performed in an office setting. This position requires extensive computer use.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. However, work is nonstandard and is dependent on issues or business objectives of the agency and division.
Travel requirements: Some in-state travel may be required to attend training, meetings, and conferences.
Customer Interactions: Customer service and customer interaction is integral to department success.
This position is part of the Licensing Division’s Business Technical Unit (BTU) and will work closely with the team’s other Data Management Journey, provide support to Licensing, Public Records, Wildlife Program, Fish Program, and Enforcement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a closely related field.
And
Minimum two (2) years of experience in SQL scripting and relational database design (may be concurrent with other required experience).
And
Minimum two (2) years of experience conducting business analysis and recommending data-driven solutions (may be concurrent with other required experience).
And
Minimum two (2) years of experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS), data warehouse concepts, and business intelligence platforms (may be concurrent with other required experience).
And
Minimum two (2) years of experience programming in an object-oriented language (e.g., C#, Java, Python) (may be concurrent with other required experience).
