This job involves working as a court reporter in a busy superior court, where you'll capture the official record of trials, hearings, and other proceedings using stenography, and prepare accurate transcripts.
You'll collaborate closely with judges and court staff to ensure smooth operations in the courtroom.
It's ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong legal knowledge and certification who thrive in a team environment and enjoy high-stakes, public-facing work.

Must be a Certified Court Reporters as tested and qualified under WAC 308-14-085 andMaintain certification on a yearly basis with the Department of Licensing.Preferred Requirements:Certified as a Registered Professional Reporter (RPR)As a condition of employment, the applicant will need to authorize and complete a background check.
Information received from the background check is reviewed case-by-case and will not necessarily remove an applicant from consideration. Compensation for this position is $53.44 per hour.
