Requirements

Under supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, this position provides a variety of services to clientele of the center.

You will be responsible for assisting with personal care, taking and recording vitals, serving snacks and meals, feeding assistance, planning and providing recreational activities, assisting with ambulation, and oversight.

This role will become familiar with each individual client knowing their different medical needs and communication styles.

Incumbents participate in client care planning and treatment goals while upholding policies and regulations.

Additional trainings and seminars will be offered to supplement knowledge and skills providing career growth opportunities.


Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours.
  • This position requires flexible scheduling.
  • May have overnight travel or out of County travel for meetings or training.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.


Legal Requirements:

  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
    • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
