As a Semi Skilled Laborer, you will conduct a wide-range of indoor and outdoor maintenance and construction activities throughout Tuscarora and Locust Lake State Parks.
Assignments will entail utilizing tools of carpentry, masonry, plumbing, painting, and other building trades to complete repairs to structures and facilities and replace or install varied equipment and amenities.
You will also assist with sewage and water treatment operations as needed such as conducting routine treatment plant checks and assisting with sewage and water line repairs.
Within this role, it is essential to safely operate park vehicles and equipment, in addition to assisting with the overall care, maintenance, and upkeep of the equipment used.
You will also tend to grounds maintenance to include mowing, weeding, cutting firewood, and litter and trash removal.
Courteous communication skills may be employed to assist park visitors by providing general information in a friendly and helpful manner.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits.
The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay.
The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately in March 2027.
