This job involves leading efforts to prevent terrorist threats in Navy installations in Korea, including assessing risks, implementing security policies, and guiding local officers to keep people and assets safe.

You will serve as a Security Specialist (Antiterrorism) in the Force Protection Department of COMMANDER NAVY REGION KOREA.
The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Organizing, implementing and evaluating comprehensive anti-terrorism programs to include physical, informational, operational and industrial personnel security; AND providing technical guidance, oversight and direction to installation Anti-Terrorism Officers (ATOs) to maintain a cohesive Anti-Terrorism posture and ensure safety of personnel.
