Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-03 (GS-9/10) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate examples of the following: (1) Applying complex information, personnel, operations, and industrial security methods, principles, and practices to an organization; (2) Providing technical guidance to program personnel in assigned classification decisions to project work, updating and interpreting classification guides; (3) Investigating and reporting on security violations and electronic spillages for assigned program; (4) Coordinating security training on various subjects relative to proper protection of classified military information (CMI) and controlled unclassified information (CUI) and (5) Interfacing with internal and external contacts to provide technology protection for an established weapons system and/or aviation program.

  • You will coordinate and implement the Program Office Security Program.
  • You will learn how to handle and apply a complex mix of security disciplines; information, industrial, operations, personnel, physical, and communications.
  • You will coordinate, facilitate, review, evaluate, document, and implement program security management ensuring appropriate security policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
  • You will report and/or investigate security violations/possible compromises and electronic spillages
  • You will provide and/or coordinate security training on a variety of subjects relative to proper protection of classified military information (CMI) and controlled unclassified information (CUI).
  • You will provide advice, guidance, and assistance to program personnel in assigning classifications decisions to project work, updating and interpreting classification guides, etc.
  • You will assist the Contracting Officer's Security Representative (COSR) with drafting, editing and review of contracting actions to ensure appropriate security requirements are included.
