You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Advising on security administration programs and systems.

Making recommendations to leadership and program offices concerning overall plans and proposals for agency and interagency security projects.

Informing supervisors about progress on potentially controversial matters or developing security conditions or requirements with far-reaching implications.

Researching and implementing new or proposed security methods and procedures within the organization.

Analyzing a variety of complex or unusual security problems, questions, or conditions associated with other security disciplines.

Major Duties:

Establish and ensure compliance with interagency security policies. Ensure that all program objectives, milestones, and timelines are met.
