You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT of FLEET WEATHER CENTER SAN DIEGO.
For the GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing required personnel security policies and procedures throughout FLTWEACEN San Diego.
Experience conducting physical security surveys, inspections, and assessments of the Command and subordinate activities, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
Experience advising the Information Security Officer (ISO) and collaborating with other security specialists to plan and implement security programs.
Experience denying, revoking, suspending or restricting security clearances.
Experience directing the development and implementation of comprehensive security education programs, which include formal training classes for employees, supervisors, and managers.

Experience reviewing personnel records with senior personnel to determine if unfavorable information exists and making recommendations to deny, revoke, suspend or restrict security clearances.
