Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves planning and managing security for strategic weapons at fixed sites, including training security teams, analyzing operations, and ensuring everything runs smoothly and complies with rules.
It's a role in the Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, focused on improving security performance through surveys, inspections, and recommendations.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing operational and tactical level planning, utilizing the Joint Planning Process including the development, implementation, and execution of comprehensive plans and procedures for fixed site security; operations analysis, including assessing operational effectiveness, ensuring compliance with organizational directives, and using data to recommend improvements to staffing, training, and resource allocation.
