Full Job Description

You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Center for Information Dominance (CID) of INFOWARTRACMD SAN DIEGO CA.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Manages the organization's overall security program, including Physical, Information, Industrial, and Personnel Security; 2) Develops and conducts security training; 3) Manages the personnel security clearance process; and 4) Oversees facility security compliance, and implements continuous improvement based on risk management assessments.

  • You will analyze and evaluate security directives, guidelines, policy, legislation, and regulations in support of command SCI and personnel security program for proper implementation and adherence by Command staff and student personnel.
  • You will evaluate and review personnel records and security forms to determine if each member meets the stringent criteria as set forth in governing directives.
  • You will plan, manage, implement, evaluate, and adapt administrative security programs.
  • You will Manage an effective security education/awareness program to ensure security program complies with applicable national and directives.
