Site specific salary information as follows: Endicott, New York: $102,475-$132,636 (includes 32.58% locality) Hudson, New Hampshire: $90,479-$117,109 (includes 17.06% locality) To qualify for a Security Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position.
To qualify for the NH-03 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-02 or GS-11 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.
Creditable specialized experience includes: Experience applying a wide range of security requirements established by legislation, executive order, regulations, directives, and various policy statements.
Developing policies and procedures to protect classified information.
Conducting security inspections to ensure implementation of and compliance with requirements of the agency's information security program.
Implementing policies, standards, procedures, security methods and their applications.
Preparing instructional training to agency personnel in regards to security concerns and protection in the interest of national security.
Serving as the security focal point between government agencies, customers and contractors. Major Duties:
