In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all residents, staff, and visitors at Delaware Valley Veterans’ Home.
Your work will involve working desk duty, monitoring the camera system, patrolling the grounds by car and foot, and making rounds of the building and grounds.
You will complete assigned tours, check locks, make sure buildings are secure after hours, and document observations and actions by completing daily reports.
Further duties include conducting investigations by gathering evidence and interviewing victims, witnesses, and suspects.
You will also direct and control traffic and respond promptly to emergency calls.
Additionally, you will assist visitors, residents, and staff by answering telephones and giving directions and information, as well as assist nursing staff in locating and returning missing residents.
