Requirements

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding people and property while enforcing Commonwealth and facility regulations related to hospital operations.

You will conduct mobile and foot patrols and monitor security systems and cameras throughout the facility to maintain law and order.

Duties include preventing and detecting crimes, as well as investigating complaints and writing incident reports for security violations.

You will assist in investigations, respond promptly to emergencies, and help manage or resolve critical situations.

Additionally, you will perform safety patrols and inspections to identify fire or safety hazards that could threaten people or property.

You will also oversee operations in the communications and dispatch center and use computer systems to manage access for employees and visitors. Interested in learning more?

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
  • Work hours are 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch. You will have every other weekend off and work rotating holidays.
  • Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
  • Travel and overtime: As needed
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Special Requirement:

  • This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license.
