Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes working in a Federal, State, municipal, local, or private protective organization that involved the protection of property against such hazards as fire, theft, damage, accident, or trespass; maintaining order by patrolling perimeters; protecting life; writing and reviewing incident reports; and responding to emergency situations and security breaches.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).
