Base salary range: $33,878 - $44,042
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience. Bachelor's degree.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves handling security tasks at a Navy installation, such as issuing passes for visitors and vehicles, greeting people at the entrance, and preparing security reports using computer tools.
It's a good fit for someone with office experience who is detail-oriented, good at communicating, and comfortable with basic administrative work in a secure environment.
No advanced degrees are needed, but one year of relevant experience is required.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting policy to ensure uniform application of regulations and processes; 2) Utilizing word processing and database management to retrieve data and incorporate it into reports; 3) Utilizing correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization to complete documents; and 4) Receiving visitors and/or screening phone calls to determine the nature of requests to direct callers to the appropriate person or office.
