Base salary range: $46,479 - $60,424
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-7. Graduate study or significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job is for an administrative secretary in a Navy command, where you'll handle office tasks like managing calendars, screening calls and visitors, preparing documents, and coordinating travel for executives.

GS-8: $63,052 - $81,965 To qualify for a GS-08, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing computer software programs to prepare, format, and proofread correspondence, forms, or reports.
Experience communicating effectively with internal and external customers including receiving calls, greeting visitors, and responding to routine requests for information.
Experience researching/following up or tracking correspondence and various projects in the chain of command, and for protocol purposes.
Experience maintaining accurate inventory of minor property based on command guidelines and ensures that proper minor property forms are completed on time.
