Anticipated Entry on Duty: 4/19/26 To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability to do the work without more than normal supervision (SCREEN OUT) Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc.
Technical Practices (Theoretical, precise, artistic). Use of measuring instruments Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc.

In preparing your application, describe in detail the experience and training which you have had that specifically prepared you for this job and to perform the duties described for this job which include: Assisting in reconstructing, restoring or rehabilitating wood structures Using instruments and tools such as rulers, try squares, levels, transits, framing hammers and traditional carpentry tools, Assisting with rehabilitating masonry structures by performing work such as stabilizing or constructing foundations, repainting walls, chimneys, fireplaces, etc.
Performing Preservationist duties under close supervision. Tasks were observed in progress and upon completion to make sure they were properly performed.

Perform a variety of journey level preservation work using a variety of materials and tools. Construct/fabricate cabinetry, furniture, and replicate/install historic fabrics.
Construct and rehabilitate wood framed structures, furnishings, and accessories primarily within the historical and architectural aspects within all-building offices, museums, visitor centers, and workshops.
Perform carpentry work and preservation elements such as structural framing, rafters, doors, windows, reconstruct, restore, or rehabilitate floors, staircases, trusses and beams, reconstruct, restore, or rehabilitate interior and exterior trim, and roofing, etc.
Maintain, repair, construct and rebuild of a variety of surfaces and structures of brick, block, stone, lime based mortar and other related materials, such as partitions, walls, walkways, foundations, etc.
