This seasonal job involves leading a team to care for and manage about 60 horses and mules in a national park, handling their feeding, equipment upkeep, and packing operations for tasks like rescues or fire support.
It's based in Montana and lasts up to six months starting in spring 2026, with hours depending on weather and needs.

Major Duties:
Responsible for the care, feeding, and assignment of the Park's stock, approximately 60 horses and/or mules.
Ensures the upkeep, replacement, or purchase of all equipment and supplies for the operation. Oversees the Park's packing operation.
Provides oversight and direction in emergency operations when the use of stock is required, such as rescues and fire suppression.
