This job involves leading cybersecurity efforts for major naval programs, tackling complex technical challenges, and guiding teams through risk assessments and process improvements to protect systems.

You will serve as a SCIENTIST in the ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NIWC ATLANTIC.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or ND-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience in cybersecurity, including complex technical issues, programmatic requirements, and leadership in Cybersecurity Management.
The role demands advanced skills in design, assessment/audit, system hardening, risk analysis, mitigation, process improvement, and guidance in the development of cybersecurity guidelines and processes.
