This job involves leading a team of riggers in a naval maintenance center, overseeing rigging tasks both in workshops and on ships, including testing heavy equipment for safety and weight handling.
You'll plan work sequences, assign tasks, ensure quality and safety, and manage resources while promoting equal employment practices.
It's a good fit for experienced supervisors with hands-on rigging skills who thrive in a structured, safety-focused environment like the military.
You will serve as a RIGGER SUPERVISOR in the PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
