The Division of Human Resource Management rules regarding promotions and transfers apply to current state employees.Processes transactions at a cash register, gives correct change, and closes till at end of shift.Assists customers in finding products, making selections, and purchasing items.Screens for intoxication, checks identification, and watches for shoplifters.Conducts regular and/or spot check inventories of merchandise, supplies, or equipment.Ensures that there is an adequate supply of materials available.
Orders, receives, inspects, and stores equipment, merchandise, commodities, materials, and/or supplies.Receives and fills liquor orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required.Maintains building(s) and/or facilities in a clean and orderly condition and/or removes snow from sidewalks and doorways, etc.Receives shipments and coordinates handling and storage.
Additional Information Physical Requirements.
Extensive standing/walking (approx. 70%/30% of shift). Must lift, pull, push, and carry 50 lbs. frequently. Requires constant balancing, grasping, and finger dexterity.
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and seeing. Requires frequent talking, hearing, and hand/wrist/arm use. Tools: POS, box cutter, hand truck.
Walk on either level or uneven surface frequently. Occasional climbing.
