• Fayette County; Ansted; Hawks Nest State Park.

• Logan County; Logan; Chief Logan State Park.

• Wyoming County; Mullens; Twin Falls Resort State Park.

West Virginia State Parks is seeking enthusiastic Restaurant Servers at state park lodge restaurants whose passion is to ensure a positive and memorable dining experience by providing the highest level of customer service and hospitality by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and processing payments.

As a restaurant server at a state park restaurant you will act as the primary point of contact for guests, which also involves answering menu questions, making recommendations, and clearing tables before and after the meal.

Responsibilities include: greet guests, escort them to tables, present menus, and answer any questions about the food and drinks, accurately take food and drink orders and communicate them to the kitchen or bar staff, deliver food and beverages to the table and check in with customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction, prepare tables for new guests, and clear away finished plates and other items as the meal progresses, present guest bill and process payment transactions, including cash, credit cards, and room charges.

Candidates must be outgoing and willing to provide the very best in customer service and hospitality by creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Lead Server job duties include, in addition to the above, leading and supervising other servers, coordinating floor operations, managing table assignments, handling customer concerns, and assisting with training new staff.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Employees must be willing to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Hourly Rate:

Restaurant Server: $7.00 - $8.00 / hour plus tips

Lead Server: $8.00 - $9.00 / hour plus tips
