- Substitution option: 2-4 years of investigative experience in criminal justice, corporate security, or U.S. Armed Services (depending on level)
- Ability to conduct interviews, gather evidence, perform field inspections, and testify in administrative hearings
- Must pass drug and alcohol testing as this is a designated position
Full Job Description
Conducts investigations of licensed or regulated health care professionals alleged to be in violation of the Michigan Public Health Code on a statewide basis.
Conducts interviews of relevant witnesses, obtains evidence to support or disapprove an allegation in accordance with the rules of evidence and the Administrative Procedures Act.
Conducts field inspections relating to potential violations of the Michigan Public Health. May be required to testifying in administrative hearings.

Qualifications
Regulation Agent 9
Two years of experience in a criminal justice agency, corporate security setting, or the United States Armed Services providing investigative services as an investigator or sworn detective may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.
Regulation Agent 10
Three years of experience in a criminal justice agency, corporate security setting, or the United States Armed Services providing investigative services as an investigator or sworn detective may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.
Regulation Agent P11
Four years of experience in a criminal justice agency, corporate security setting, or the United States Armed Services providing investigative services as an investigator or sworn detective may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.
