This job is for a nurse leader working the night shift at a Pennsylvania state center that cares for people with developmental disabilities, where you'll guide a team of nurses, plan patient care, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
It's ideal for an experienced registered nurse who enjoys leading others, staying organized under pressure, and making a real impact on vulnerable patients.
The role offers a chance to grow professionally while working full-time with a supportive team.
Are you looking to make leadership a part of your nursing career? Would you like to care for some of the Commonwealth's most vulnerable citizens?
The Department of Human Services (DHS), Selinsgrove Center is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to make a positive difference with patients and staff.
This is the perfect opportunity to work with a team that loves nursing as much as you do.
If you are a dependable, compassionate, and hard working registered nurse ready for rewarding challenges and professional growth, then we encourage you to apply today!
As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will develop, implement, evaluate, and monitor the treatment for assigned patients at Selinsgrove Center.
You will oversee Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) by setting priorities and establishing accountability for assignments.
You will also plan and organize comprehensive nursing services, direct non-professional staff in the provision of health and related services, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
This role requires effective organizational skills and solid leadership to review employee performance, coordinate training needs, and provide developmental coaching and counseling.
In addition, you will participate in committees and work groups, investigate reports of medicine or treatment deviations, and document Nursing Assessments and Physician’s Plan of Care changes.
