This position will lead the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Program through oversight, coordination and evaluation of all of the Utah WIC Program functions including the federal regulations and state policies and procedures that must be implemented. This will include functions related to service delivery, staff development/training, and coordination of projects and activities.

Requirements

  • Coordinating the WIC program activities, services and resources
  • Monitoring and evaluation of WIC operations
  • Ensuring compliance with federal regulations, policies and procedures
  • Conducting evaluations
  • Developing policies and procedures
  • Testing and recommending computer functions
  • Lead the nutrition education and training committees

Qualifications

Required:
  • Registered as a Dietitian
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Utah within 60-90 days
  • Effective communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • An ability to facilitate small group projects
  • Coordination skills
