Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team!

MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community.

Three years¿ experience that may be a combination of education and experience, that demonstrates the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills and abilities related to operations planning and administrative processes.

Knowledge of Marine Corps structure, policies and procedures is required.

One year experience working with MCCS management policies, concepts, practices, and principles in order to support operations and administrative planning and coordination.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office programs with the demonstrated ability to produce high level briefing materials.

Must have the ability to learn new technical processes and administrate permission-based applications.

Must have the ability to deal courteously, effectively and tactfully with others, even in stressful environments.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of military and civilian personnel, both inside and outside the organization.

Flexibility in working conditions and hours is required. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. Major Duties:

Serves as a member of the executive staff of MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN. Provides administrative and logistical support services to the AC/S, Deputy AC/S and Regional Operations staff..

Assists with planning, developing, and implementing MCCS initiatives and support.

Coordinates across the MCIWEST region and with all commands to enable highly effective, responsive, and timely MCCS support.

Assists in the collection of data to assess improvements, accomplishments, projected plans, and development activities.

Utilizes established computer programs to prepare electronic spreadsheets, graphs, and similar automated formats for review/presentation purposes.

Consolidates responses from MCCS divisions and across MCIWEST to provide finalized products to MCCS leadership.

Executes and leads MCCS submissions to the Tasking Management system for MCIWEST Installations. Maintains tracking system to consolidate regional responses in a timely and efficient manner.

Assists with the effective coordination with all taskers from Higher Headquarters to include MCICOM, HQMC MR/MF and all supported commands.

Organizes flow of operational program processes in an office environment. Establishes status of actions on numerous projects and programs operations.

Provides tracking system for executive taskings, a myriad of time- management assistance processes for senior management, and initiates control measures to ensure timely completion of projects and/or reports.

Ensures tasks are prioritized in support of the intent provided by the MCCS AC/S and Deputy AC/S. Maintains official files.

Assists with responding to and drafting into appropriate format briefing slides, correspondence, statistical material, reports, special projects, and notes for briefs to commands at all levels.

Provides required reports. Gathers and maintains statistical information as required. Collects, compiles, and organizes information and data to meet administrative requirements.

Coordinates with MCCS divisions for appropriate preparation and submission of administrative products. Monitors time-sensitive and high-profile projects.

Helps to develop and improve MCCS MCIWEST workflows/processes to ensure appropriate staffing and timely submission in support of information management and decision making.

Screens correspondence and assists divisions and staff in developing correspondence items. Represents MCCS during emergency situations inside the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).

Prepares Command Update Slides and ensures timely situational reports to all required MCCS personnel. Maintains access rosters for MCCS Headquarters spaces.

Ascertains nature of call or business of visitors, and on the basis of knowledge of the organization's programs and functions, project assignments, internal procedures and relationships, and current work status, directs callers to appropriate personnel.

Provides Customer Service with an emphasis on professionalism and courtesy. Assists internal and external customers and communicates positively in a professional manner.

Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.

Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.

Maintains Regional Operations calendars and schedules appointments and meetings for leadership.

Also coordinates logistics for conferences, equipment rentals, government vehicle usage, and trainings as required.

Makes travel arrangements for Regional Operations staff and MCCS leadership; maintains itineraries and prepares travel vouchers upon their return.

Ascertain purchase card and regulate trainings for purchase card holders.

Reads directives and instructional material pertaining to administrative practices and clerical procedures in order to keep abreast of new, revised, or amended procedures which may have an impact on administrative action documents, e.g., preparation and processing of reports, forms, correspondence, etc.

Performs other duties as assigned. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 40 lbs may be required.
