Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Must have experience which provided a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs.
Must have experience working in a membership industry & have functional experience & mastery of customer service within a membership based business.
Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office software programs to include Work, Excel and Power Point, are highly desirable. Must have the ability to build teams & work with others.
Must have experience demonstrated ability in basic book-keeping fundamentals & cashier operations. Major Duties:
Applicants will be reviewed and referred on the following dates: Apr 16, 2026, Apr 27, 2026, and closing on May 6, 2026.
Announcement will close once position is filled The purpose of the position is to assist the Marina Manager in the development of strategies that enhance and expand Marina and Tides Club membership and ensures the efficient operation of the Marina and Tides.
Plans and organizes membership drives. Works with FSS Marketing on campaigns and publicity to promote patronage and membership at the Marina/Tides.
Performs various customer service, administrative services. Within established policies and objectives, Coordinates and conducts a variety of recreation programs in support of a large program.
Provides operational oversight of the Marina and Tides. Implements higher-level directives, selects activities and services to be offered in addition to required basic programs.
Schedules, publicizes and promotes various programs/clinics & other activities. Ensures compliance with all state and local agencies regulatory requirements.
Analyzes all related costs and calculates prices. Accounts for all funds involved in the program and makes recommendations to maintain a solid financial condition of activities.
Develops and implements procedures to monitor, track and document program effectiveness and success.
Utilizes various software programs in researching networking, exchanging information and establishing historical files of adventure program. Resolves customer issues and complaints.
Monitors and tracks customer feedback to evaluate and then ensure quality service and client satisfaction. Establishes, reviews, and evaluates purchase of supplies, equipment and resale merchandise.
Assists manager with assigning, directing and reviewing the work of assigned employees and volunteers. Recruits, mentors, organizes, plans, and provides direction to volunteers.
May assist manager with assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, the difficulty of the work to be performed, and the capabilities of employees.
In the absent of the Marina Manager may be required to prepare employee work schedules and reviews leave slips. May be required to assist other Community Services facilities in programing.
