About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 45 Force Support Squadron Bowling Center.

This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 0-40 per week. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 03/25/2026 Business Based Action, Military Spouse Preference, Outside Applicant Veteran, Spouse/Widow/Parent of Veteran, and Transition Hiring Preference In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Experience which provides a basic knowledge and understanding of bowling center operationsincluding the rules related to bowling and organization of leagues and tournaments.

Knowledge of bowling machinery and equipmentand bowling lane care.

Experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other processing of cash items when thisincludes direct handling of cash items, and use of cash accountability control methods.

Ability to communicate both orally and inwriting and possess skill in dealing with the public. Prior experience in basic supply techniques is desirable. Major Duties:

Applicants will be reviewed and referred on the following dates: March 5, 2026, March 15, 2026, and closing on March 25, 2026. Announcement will close once position is filled.

Assigns lanes to be used, operates control console, rents shoes and sells items in the pro shop.Conducts inventories of pro shop items may be required to inventory snack bar resale items, facility equipment and other supplyitems.

Demonstrates and instructs participants on the proper use of equipment and provides guidance and instruction on bowlingtechniques.

Informs supervisor of equipment malfunctions as well as other items needing maintenance or repair.

May supervise,lead, oversee and/or coordinate the daily activities of other employees engaged in the performance of their duties.

Assists inadvertising and recruiting participants for leagues, tournaments, special events and open play activities.

May be required to scheduleand administer these activities in the capacity of league secretary or tournament director.

Insures activities are properly scheduled,facilities are set up and rules and regulations are observed. Opens and closes the bowling facility as required. Performs other relatedduties as assigned.
