Summary

This job involves helping out in the City of Cape Coral's Parks and Recreation programs, especially in art studios, by supporting counselors or instructors with activities, ensuring participant safety, and handling tasks like setup, cleanup, and record-keeping.

This is a contract position governed by the terms and conditions of the employment agreement.

Key Details
  • Responsible for the safety of, and interaction with, all participants.
  • Assists counselor or instructor with all duties within recreation programs.
  • May be required to assist with daily programming, preparation & cleanup.
  • May assist in the responsible for the ID checklist, registrations and reporting of injuries/discipline problems & other records data to the Supervisor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Supervisor(s).

Minimum Qualifications
  • Attending or completion of high School or GED required.


Individuals assigned to this classification must report to work per their assigned schedule. Parks and Recreation staff must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as assigned.
