Job Description

Summary

This job involves helping to run fitness programs at a military base, including planning workouts and teaching people how to improve their aerobic, strength, and flexibility training.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated work experience in independently managing a basic physical fitness program
  • Valid Fitness or Personal Trainer Certificate
  • Ability to assist in planning and conducting conditioning programs for facility users
  • Skills in instructing aerobic, muscular fitness, and flexibility training
  • For highly preferred status: Certifications in NASM-CPT, CSCS, TSAC-F, or specialized areas like Individualized Fitness Assessment, Benefits of Exercise, and Group Exercise

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess certification in Specialized Program Instructor Areas i.e.

Individualized Fitness Assessment, Benefits of Exercise, and Group Exercise, NASM-CPT, CSCS, TSAC-F.

The experience and certification "Must" be reflected on your resume or your current valid certification "Must" be uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position and certifications "Must" be uploaded at the time of application to be considered Highly Preferred for this position.

  • Assist in the planning markets and conducts an ongoing program to provide conditioning programs for facility users.
