This job is for a recreation assistant at an outdoor complex on a military base in Colorado, where you'll lead groups and individuals in various outdoor activities, teach both kids and adults, and ensure everyone's safety.
It's a flexible role with hours varying from 0 to 40 per week, no guaranteed schedule.
A good fit would be someone passionate about outdoor fun, experienced in recreation, and comfortable managing groups while prioritizing safety.
This position is located at the Outdoor Recreation Complex on Fort Carson. This position is a FLEX position. FLEX positions can be worked anywhere between 0 - 40 hours per week.

Qualification Requirements: Must have knowledge of and experience in a wide variety of Outdoor Recreation pursuits.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Applicants pursuing a degree in Recreation Management, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field, and in the process of completing an internship or fieldwork program will be considered highly qualified.
