This entry-level job trains new hires to become certified lifeguards at an Army family recreation center's aquatics facility in Arizona.

Full Job Description

This position is located at Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWR Aquatics. Subsequent referrals to the Hiring Manager will occur weekly.

The first cut-off date for this position will be April 1st 2026 Then every Tuesday thereafter until all positions are filled. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

A Qualified candidate must possess the following: Must be able to swim and participate in the lifeguard certifications. Major Duties:

  • This is a training position for a certified Lifeguard.
  • Must be able to swim and participate in the lifeguard certifications. Works under close supervision wherein the work is closely reviewed/monitored and detailed guidance provided.
  • Must participate in all required training (emergency rescue drills, emergency action plan simulations).
  • Mandatory certification must be complete within 30 calendar days of employment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
