About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Moose Run Golf Course on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK.
This is a Seasonal position Not-To-Exceed 31-Oct-2026. This position is Flexible, meaning you are guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours per week to a maximum of 40 hours per week.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Practical knowledge of golf activities, etiquette, and procedures is required. Considerable experience as a golfer may be substituted for work experience.
Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Major Duties:
Responsibilities are, but are not limited to: Checks and assures all golfers have paid the appropriate fees and charges, are properly attired, and have the proper equipment.
Assures maximum usage of available tee times by pairing singles and twosomes and threesomes and assists golfers in need of playing partners. Calls players to the tee box.
Keeps appropriate logs and records daily player count and category. Performs course marshaling, assuring players adhere to course rules and policies and proper golf etiquette.
Maintains speed and flow of golfers through the golf course, making adjustments for slow play, gaps, and bottlenecks. Maintains optimum course flow and pace of play.
Assists in movement and staging of golf carts for play and tournaments. Assists in cleaning golf carts. Assists with simple repair and maintenance.
Picks up litter and removes garbage from the golf course. Collects driving range baskets and returns them to the staging area as needed.
Picks up range balls from the driving range with mechanized equipment, washes golf balls, and loads dispensing machine as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
