About the position: This position is Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Polar Bowl on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.
Regular Part-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 20 hours to a maximum of 34 hours per week.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Practical knowledge of bowling rules and procedures. Knowledge of cash register operation is desirable. No experience is required.
Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug test. Major Duties:
Under the supervision of the bowling center manager, operates the control counter in assignment of lanes, rental shoes, and locker space, and completes necessary paperwork for use of other facilities.
Operates cash register, makes change, and accounts for all cash received. Responsible for reading the lanes, snack bar, and pro-shop cash registers at the end of assigned shifts.
Insures deposits are made in a timely manner. Monitors performance of bowling center personnel to insure maximum patron-oriented service. Directs the activities of custodial workers on assigned shift.
Handles complaints in a professional manner, recognizing that the complain has to be resolved to the patron's satisfaction. Performs other related duties as assigned.
