About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Scott AFB Outdoor Recreation.
This is a Flexible position 0 - 40 hours per week Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Applicants will be categorized by preference(s) and/or priority consideration eligibilities.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: No experience is required. Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules and procedures is preferred.
Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreation equipment and facilities are desirable.
Working knowledge of computer programs, i.e., Microsoft Office, and typing skills are desirable. Must possess skill in dealing with public. Major Duties:
Prepares recreation areas for scheduled activities; records attendance; takes reservations and payment for programs; notifies participants of scheduled changes.
Checks equipment before rental and upon return for discrepancies, i.e., torn or frayed material, defective parts, etc., makes necessary adjustments for replacing minor parts when necessary and reports all major repairs needed to supervisor/maintenance team.
Accomplishes completed walk around checklists for all rental items such as boats, campers, etc., before and after rental.
Maintains the facility in a neat and orderly manner, keeping display items clean and dusted.
Assists with group activities/trips, which require more than one staff member to monitor; cleans facilities, POV resale lot, FAMCAMP, RV storage lot, Picnic Pavilions, and Archery Range.
Operates cash register, maintains a change fund, completed required cashier reports/deposits, and rings fees/makes reservations.
