Job Description

Summary

This job involves helping soldiers and single service members at Fort Hood by managing recreational equipment, organizing games and events, and keeping facilities clean and welcoming.

Key Requirements

  • Skills in directing patrons, scheduling facilities, and leading social events
  • Capability to decorate spaces, maintain cleanliness, and perform simple repairs
  • Strong customer service to provide program information and assist patrons

Full Job Description

This position is located at: BOSS - Fort Hood, Texas.

The BOSS program at Fort Hood helps new soldiers and single service members build community through recreation, volunteer work, and quality-of-life support, giving them resources, events, and advocacy to improve their daily living.

Major Duties:

  • Issues tools, equipment and games to authorized customers. Checks identification, collects fees when appropriate, and completes appropriate documentation.
  • Receives returned items, inspecting for obvious damage and missing parts. Checks inventories and supplies.
  • Assists in directing patrons, scheduling the use of courts, lanes and equipment. Participates in and directs games and social events.
  • Decorates party rooms and maintains the cleanliness of assigned work areas.
  • Provides facility and program information to patrons. Assists with simple repair and maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned.
