You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: This is an entry level position and no minimum qualifications are required for this position.
However, a basic knowledge and understanding of bowling center operations is highly desirable.
Experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, or other processing of cash items when this includes direct handling of cash items, and cash control accountability methods is desirable.
Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing and possess skill in dealing with the public.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:
Performs and/or assists bowling center specialists in the operation and manning of the customer service desk.
Duties may include assigning lanes to customers, operating control console, renting shoes, and selling items in the pro shop. May assist with cleaning and oiling lanes with automatic lane machine.
Will assist in inventories of the pro shop and may be required to assist with snack bar resale items, facility equipment and other supply items.
Will be required to keep control counter and concourse area neat and orderly, may require wiping tabletops, etc.
Informs supervisor of equipment malfunctions as well as other items needing maintenance or repair, may require performing minor malfunctions on lane machines.
May open and close the bowling facility as required. Performs other related duties as assigned. Will close out register and make deposits.
