About the position: This position will be assigned to the Little Rock AFB, AR - Outdoor Recreation. This position is guaranteed 0 hours but can be scheduled up to 40 hours per week.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures.
Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable; however, no experience is required.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:
Performs and/ or assist other Outdoor Recreation (ODR) assistants or specialists in the operation and maintenance of ODR facilities and equipment.Types of the duties included: Set up of recreation areas for scheduled activities Taking reservations and payments for all ODR programs Equipment check in/out to include inspection of equipment condition upon return Checks the safety and cleanliness of ODR facilities, areas and equipment Will assist in the cleaning and light maintenance of restroom/bathhouse facilities May assist in the answering of phones.
Act as ID checker, registrar, cashier for base pool entry, food handler and concession sales.
May operate one or more motor vehicles to include light to medium duty trucks, passenger vans, and utilities vehicles weighing up to 10,000lbs on and off base.
